Index value plots are graphs in were one could display forms of data to be compared to one another. In the graph the dollar index is being compared to the value of the S&P 500, with this form of data display one could easily notice a disparity in the two sets of data.

Topographical maps are maps that depict detailed descriptions of terrain. Some features are elevation lines and also colors that show different geographical features like bodies of water and areas of vegetation.
